Become a Precinct Delegate
This is the most powerful position in local politics that nobody talks about. A precinct delegate (or committeeman) votes on who runs for office in your area. Most seats are empty. Yours could be the deciding voice.
How it works:
- 1.Find your county Republican committee (search “[your county] Republican Party”)
- 2.Ask about open precinct committee seats in your area
- 3.File to run or get appointed (the process varies by state)
- 4.Show up, vote, and have real influence on who represents your community
Most precincts have ZERO competition. You could win by default.
